Poly[bis(serine ethyl ester)phosphazene] regulates the degradation rates of vinyl ester photopolymers

چکیده

Abstract Vinyl esters and carbonates have recently been demonstrated to considerably lower cytotoxicity than their more commonly used (meth)acrylate counterparts, inspiring use in the 3D printing of biomaterials. However, degradation rates such synthetic photopolymers are slow, especially mild conditions present many biological environments. Some applications, for example, tissue regeneration scaffolds drug release, require faster biodegradation. Furthermore, it is essential be able easily tune rate fit requirements a range applications. Herein we design synthesis hydrolytically degradable polyphosphazenes substituted with vinyl carbonate functionalized amino acid. Thiolene copolymerization gave cured polymers which accelerate vinylester/thiolene polymer scaffolds. Graphical abstract
